Advocate Medical Group is a physician-led medical group providing primary care, specialty services, medical imaging, outpatient services and community based medical practices throughout the Chicagoland and Bloomington/Normal.

Position Requirements:
Completion of a medical terminology class or attendance within six months
High School graduate or equivalent.
Strong communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Good organization skills
1~2 years healthcare experience
Basic phone skills
Computer skills
CPR certification within 6 months The ability to work in a fast paced environment with established time constraints
The ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work within a short time frame
The ability to perform medium lifting up to 20~50 lbs. occasionally and/or 10~25 lbs. frequently and/or
The ability to perform lifting/transferring activities related to patients
That you may be exposed to various contagious diseases, radiation, electrical equipment, and hazards associate with their use
The ability to work closely with others
The candidate must be highly customer service oriented
The ability to work holidays, weekends and different shifts to accommodate staffing needs.

If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

This position will provide non~technical support in the delivery of quality care to patients under the direct supervision of the Manager or designee.

The Radiology Department Aide works as a member of the Radiology Team ensures high quality and customer focused services. This position serves to facilitate Department operations in all Imaging modalities through answering phones, scheduling patients for procedures, arranging/completing patient transport, maintaining and ordering supplies, assisting with performance improvement activities, assisting technical staff and nurses in the activities related to the delivery of patient care and other duties as directed by the Manager or designee.

Management of Department supplies in a cost~effective manner.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of Department environment.
Demonstrate ability to function as part of a Radiology Department Aide pool serving all Imaging modalities at AMG Outpatient centers.
Support the technologists, in the activities related to the delivery of patient care.
Performs clerical duties in the technical work areas of the department.
Utilizes a multitude of Information/communication systems in order to obtain information and/or communicate information.
Contribute to a harmonious work environment and Service Excellence Standards.
Perform patient interviews to obtain and document patient demographic and medical coverage information.
