Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Exercise Science, Health Promotion or related field.

Minimum 3~4 years full time, progressive experience in a health/fitness environment.

Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory role. Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong customer skills.

Basic understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition and health promotion.

Basic computer knowledge.

ACSM: Health Fitness Instructor

Basic leadership trainings Ability to travel locally.
Highly energetic, resourceful and self directed.
Ability to perform a full spectrum of job tasks.
Highly motivated and well organized.

To assist and oversee multiple Advocate Aurora Fitness operations in accordance with established strategic goals and objectives in order to meet membership goals, financial targets, and various quality indicators including customer/client satisfaction requirements. To oversee the activities of all professional and administrative personnel to satisfy the needs of all customers and team members to uphold industry standards and to strive for continuous quality improvement in all areas of accountability and job activities, while collaborating as a team player. To develop and maintain strong professional relationships with all supervised site liaisons and to market additional services as appropriate on an ongoing basis.

Oversight of ongoing operations at multiple locations.
Develops and maintains oversight and evaluation of all programs.
Assists with the development and adherence to annual budget, KRA goals, objectives and promotional plan for department programs.
Maintains customer relations on a daily basis and supervises customer service.
Recruit. train and assist with the evaluation of team members.
Application of exercise and health component of the Medical Model approach.
