EMR Support Analyst

Position Requirements:
Education Required:
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or
Associate's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field.

Experience Required:
Typically requires 2 years of experience in EHR, IT and/or Ambulatory care setting required.

Teaching EHR systems, onsite training new staff and clinical or billing experience in Ambulatory care setting.

Must have onsite, go~live support EHR experience.
Must have general knowledge and competency in Electronic Health records, Epic preferred.
Demonstrated experience in Account Management and Coordinator comptency required
Demonstrated knowledge in Ambulatory Care and Provider practice settings.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with advanced knowledge of clinic processes and workflows.
Ability to multitask and work in a high~pressure environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to establish good working relationships with physicians and practice staff.
Occasional weekend, evening hours, and out of town is required.
None Required. Exposed to a normal office environment.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
This position requires travel so will be exposed to weather and road conditions.

Purpose:
The Support Analyst will be directly involved in the onsite support of the ECC program to APP providers and practices. Responsible for the quality of the ECC program delivery with standard methodology, customer satisfaction, communication and support of the APP members. Supports Advocate Aurora's strategic initiative to develop an integrated platform to support Population health, Epic Community Connect (ECC) EHR will be made available to APP provider members and practices.

Accountabilities:
Provides onsite support training of end users on the appropriate use of Epic Community Connect suite of products to support ambulatory practices including but not limited to Prelude, Cadence, Ambulatory Care, Resolute ProFee Billing, MyChart and appropriate interoperability functionality.
Assesses users response to training and identifies users that may require additional education/training. Makes appropriate recommendations to end users to improve their training and general adoption progress.
Works collaboratively with AAH resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of ECC site support for APP providers and practice staff.
Works directly with principle trainers, HIT and Community Connect leaders to ensure onsite support user issues are reported and resolved effective in meeting APP members implementation needs.
Works in partnership with end user groups, team members, and leadership to provide ongoing training support for operational changes and projects that could impact the Epic platform and Community Connect users.
Identifies practice staff members that may need additional training and works collaboratively with the EMR Implementation Advisor and/or APP training team to coordinate a plan to meet their training needs.
