Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred.

Purpose:
The Director of EPH Strategy works directly with the Senior Vice President (SVP) to lead the evaluation, planning, and implementation of strategically critical work streams and projects which align to Enterprise Population Health (EPH) strategic priorities. The Director works with interdisciplinary teams while applying process improvement and project management principles and gaining buy~in from key stakeholders to drive results. The incumbent understands process improvement and project goals, articulates the significance of the work that EPH is facing. The Director works to resolve any conflicts that arise during any of the project lifecycles that the team is encountering. The Director will be responsible for reporting on engagement status and updates to SVP and EPH Executive Team as appropriate. The Director has a working understanding of operations and key performance indicators. Provides support, consultation and education on operational analytics, measurement, and process improvement methodologies, including design and construction of original analysis, research, statistical analysis and operational data management. The Director will also own all EPH Governance activities in relation to board meetings and communication. The Director will also take on any special projects that the SVP has determined needs the expertise of the director.

Accountabilities:

  • Manages, plans, and executes projects utilizing process improvement and project management principles.
  • Manages and coordinates large projects with interdisciplinary teams to drive operational, strategic, and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead improvement initiatives and transformation efforts utilizing a holistic approach and change strategies.
  • Collaborates with colleagues, internal and external subject matter experts to gather best practices for a respective project in healthcare.
  • Provides coaching to leaders for effective project management. Motivates project team.
  • Responsible for being a catalyst for the organizational level change effort by creating a shared need, shaping the vision, mobilizing the commitment, helping to make change last, and monitoring the progress.
  • Oversees the creation and delivering of customized project plans, project charters, presentations and updates and ensuring timely and effective deployment of implementation plans and measurable returns.
  • Ensure effective communication with key leaders and stakeholders while enhancing overall development of leadership and associates. Accountable for all communication and materials related to EPH Governance (Board meetings), including meeting agendas, PowerPoint's, Connect the Dots, etc.
  • Ensures all projects within EPH are meeting all deadlines and target completion dates. Leads the project managers in their day to day work.
  • Develops and executes effective communication and training plans, identifies issues and provides solution recommendations.
