Position Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
2~3 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting (Oncology/BMT preferred)
Knowledge in quality improvement activities and use of current evidence based practice
Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing, database, and graphic software.
Proficient in evidence based practice, critical thinking, statistical knowledge, analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide variety of healthcare individuals and teams.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work with diverse teams and individuals RN (Current Illinois RN License)
Current CPR certification Ability to work in a fast~paced environment with established time constraints.
Innovative, self~motivated, detail oriented.
Resiliency and flexibility to work within a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to travel on occasion to other Advocate sites.
Ability to interact with computer systems over extended time periods.

Provides a high degree of professional competence in supporting the quality aspect of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program. The BMT Quality RN provides excellence in assessing and analyzing current practices and process to identify opportunities for program excellence. Provides clinical expertise to develop and implement plans and key quality initiatives, analyzes and evaluates BMT patient outcomes based on current literature and evidence. Provides clinical consultation and expertise to meet regulatory agency requirements. Facilitates multispecialty interdisciplinary collaboration in the pursuit of clinical excellence and patient safety.
