Purpose:
To provide administrative and clinical leadership to plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources in order to provide the highest quality patient care with trained, professional, and competent staff in the most cost-effective manner. To collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.
 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters Degree any field OR Bachelors Degree any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
  • 2+ years of previous management experience focused in telemetry/medical-surgical.
  • 4+ years of clinical RN experience with 2 years in Mother/Baby area.
  • RN Licensure in State of Illinois.
  • Strong organization, planning and delegation skills.



Accountabilities:

  1. Planning, management, implementation, and evaluation of operations/ service to ensure quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  2. Preparation and administration of budgets to ensure adequate personnel, facilities, and supplies.
  3. Responsible for the selections, development, motivation and evaluation of staff.
  4. Maintenance of effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  5. Responsible for personal and professional growth and development.
