Responsible for providing strategic direction, accountable for clinical operations, and financial bottom line performance and leadership for Advocate Aurora Health South Chicagoland. Alignment with Advocate Aurora Health System Imaging Services. Administration of operations according to the mission values and philosophy of Advocate Aurora Health.


Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare related field
  • 7-10 years experience in Healthcare Management
  • 10 years Radiology experience
  • Excellent Strategic Financial Planning
  • Ability to work across functional lines and promote good relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
  • Strong decision making and critical thinking skills


  1. Strategic planning for growth, budgeting and forecasting new sources of revenue and funding the future of AAH Imaging Services
  2. Identify evaluate and plan for new and emerging technologies
  3. Develop operating and capital budgets for Primary Service Area (PSA)
  4. Establishes goals to enhance imaging revenue, reduce operating expenses and improve productivity
  5. Responsible for driving measurable improvements in service delivery for assigned sites of care
  6. Develop and oversee the colmination of statistical information to be used for current and future operations
  7. Work with service line programs to ensure imaging services aligned with program initiatives
  8. Facilitate Clinical Integration to ensure physicians and hospitals collaborate to provide timely effective, efficient and safe care
  9. Development and implementation of polices, procedures and standards which follow System Imaging Services and Quality Management guidelines
  10. Ensure Imaging Services is aligned with directives of governing bodies, IDPH, ACR, DNV, OSHA
  11. Manage contract performance and compliance for Radiologist professional service agreement
  12. Oversight for all acute and non~acute imaging in the PSA
  13. Management for standardization of equipment, policy and procedures, protocols and increase operational efficiencies
  14. Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale. Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives. Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.
