REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 1~2 years experience in a complex IT operating environment that includes: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Products.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficient customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems.
  • Good problem determination skills.
  • Microsoft MTA Certifications preferred.
  • Must be able to travel to various Advocate sites.
  • On call rotation support required.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The System Administrator I provides  support for end~users with technical issues or problems. Fulfills users requests for software and hardware installation. Participates as a technical resource on site and core projects.  Performs device setup, deployment and retirement activities. 
Accountabilities:

  • NETWORK MANAGEMENT ~ Supports device connections to the Advocate Infrastructure.
  • DEVICE DEPLOYMENT / LIFECYCLE ~ Participates in the entire device lifecycle from initial device deployment through device replacement / retirement. 
  • DEVICE MANAGEMENT ~ Ensures IT environment is functioning at optimal level and end~users needs are met.
  • PROJECT SUPPORT / MANAGEMENT ~ SITE PROJECTS ~ Supports site based projects including, construction projects, new system implementations or application upgrades following project office policies and practices .
  • PROJECT SUPPORT / MANAGEMENT ~ CORE PROJECT ~ Serves as the site resource for core projects that may include, new application implementation, new technology deployment or application upgrades in compliance with project office policies and standards.
