SR. CLINICAL ANALYST, AdvocateAurora Health

  • Status: (Part-time 32 hours guaranteed)
  • Location : KENSINGTON SUPPORT CENTER, OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, other related clinical field or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 ~ 6 years experience in healthcare information systems.
  • Epic certification preferred.
  • Broad based knowledge and competency in both hardware and software applications and systems in a clinical department and /or integrated delivery system environment.
  • Licensed R.N. is preferred
  • Travel between all Advocate Health Care sites is a requirement of the job.
  • Potential workweek is typically >40 hours.
  • Primary on~call rotation for 24x7x365 support of the clinical system is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Able to 'team” effectively with all members of the greater Information System department.


Purpose:
Lead and perform activities related to the design, build, implementation, and support of packaged Clinical Information system solutions at Advocate Health Care. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, which includes communication (both written and verbal). Project and work approach is team centric, creative, analytical and flexible. Able to deliver high quality clinical project work as assigned on a daily basis.
Accountabilities:

  • Develops, implements, and adheres to policies, procedures, and standards to meet all regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, as well as currently accepted legal standards.
  • Provides clinical information services to assigned facilities
  • Lead small clinical project teams as assigned in the delivery and support of Clinical Information System solutions at Advocate Health Care.
  • Lead for analytical, process, and problem resolution services.
  • Establish and maintains positive peer, leadership and customer relationships.
  • Self directed, maintains professional skills and mentors others in staying abreast of the changes in health care and information systems technology
  • **  If not certified upon hire, employee will be sent to training in the application(s) for which they are hired.  Certification must be obtained within 90 days of completion of the last class.  Three attempts will be allowed to attain certification.
