Position Requirements:
High School graduate

2~3 yrs. General office experience to include telecommunications or public relations, handling multiple incoming phone lines, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Types 35~45 wpm, preferred

Basic skills/knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint

Excellent written and communication skills.

Knowledge of telecommunications concepts (lines, equipment, phone mail)

Consistently friendly customer service attitude

Attention to detail

Ability to perform in fast~ paced, diverse environment.

Professional image
None required Ability to communicate with staff and customers, some of which have language or speech impairments.

Hours for this position are 8:00~5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to help achieve the vision of Advocate Aurora Post Acute Division by performing the duties of this position in a cost effective, results oriented and customer focused manner. This position is a critical component of the Unit team and as such meeting individual performance expectations and contribution to team performance goals is required.

To serve as switchboard operator at the home office and notify OFS Manager when problems occur with the telephone equipment or lines.

To serve as first point of contact for all visitors to the Advocate Aurora Post Acute Division Corporate Office.
