Position Requirements: 
BA/BS in Business Management, Computer Science, a related field, or technical training equivalent.
5 yrs. experience with Project Management managing project of five people or more..
Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects.
Broad understanding of business, management, financial, operational, and management concepts.
Strong analytical and technical knowledge and skill.
Strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word or similar office productivity software.
Project Management experience in multiple application areas such as Information Technology, Quality Management, and Laboratory or similar industry processes.
Strong interpersonal and management skills.
Ability to see and keep in focus the overall strategy and business value while still managing large amounts of detail.
Mentoring, training, and presentation skills required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred. Travel to ACL locations required occasional out of town travel is required.
Ability to sit 90 percent of workday.
Ability to perform hand manipulation when using computer keyboard and mouse.
Exposed to normal office environment.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.


The IT Project Manager will report into the Advocate Aurora Health HIT Growth and Construction department.  The IT Project Manager will oversee project management for construction and growth projects for system wide acute, ambulatory, and growth initiatives. Manages projects for HIT departments including project budgeting, business value, initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing. Responsible for all aspects of the project (scope, schedule, cost, and quality), including the activities of project members. Establishes and promotes project management concepts and application at Advocate Aurora Health.

Manages Advocate Aurora Health HIT Growth and Construction Projects
Provides Analytical and Technical Project Support to Organization
Promotes and Maintains Collaborative relationships within Organization.
