Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree with 2~3 years of related experience, preferably in a health care or community wellness setting. Good communication skills
Computer skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours inclusive of some evenings, weekends, different shifts in order to accommodate staffing
Ability to transport objects and equipment
Ability to respond quickly to needs and work at fast pace
Ability to assist in evacuation in the event of a fire or other disaster
Ability to respond to consumers in a timely manner


The following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Purpose:
The Program Coordinator for the Young Hearts for Life Cardiac Screening Program assumes the primary responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of primary (cardiac screening) and secondary (cardiac emergency action planning) initiatives in the school setting.

The YH4L Program Coordinator plans and sets goals inclusive of screening events, community education, writing/submitting grants, and pursuing additional funding for outreach activities. Assumes leadership responsibilities at the site level. Demonstrates a mastery of technical skills.
