Position Requirements:
BBA/BS in Business/Computer Science or Nursing is preferred. The team supports the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications in our Acute Care Facilities, as well as Ambulatory Surgery Clinics in IL and WI. The ideal candidate will have certifications in Epic OpTime and/or Anesthesia with (1-3 years) build experience. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, technical, analytical, and problem solving skills, good team player and customer service orientation. Travel to the Advocate sites along with occasional out-of-town travel and 24 hour/7 day on-call support on rotation is required. Some cross application knowledge will be required for support.

Perform activities related to the design, build, implementation, and support of the software of the Cerner Millennium Clinical Information System. Recommend plans of action, develop and maintain policies and procedures and protocol changes, and work with associates to optimize the utilization of the system. Communicate effectively with department, hospital, and corporate associates. Deliver timely and high quality problem resolution and escalation services and provide solutions for user questions and requests for information.

Develops, implements, and adheres to policies, procedures, and standards to meet all regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, as well as currently accepted legal standards.
Provides CIS business services to assigned facilities and system wide service lines.
Participate in the implementation and support of the Cerner Clinical Information System.
Provide analytical, process, and problem resolution services.
Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
Builds professional skills by maintaining awareness of health care environment and information systems technology.
