ANALYST – Analyst - EPIC Ambulatory Radiation Oncology Informatics

  • Site: Advocate Support Center – Downers Grove /Oak Brook, IL
  • Status: Full time
  • Nurses / Radiation Therapist / Radiation EMR Systems Admin

Position Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business or Computer Science or related field is a plus.
  • Experience (3~4 years) in Information Systems with Radiation Oncology required
  • Radiation Therapist or Radiation Oncology Nurse or Radiation Oncology Systems Admin
  • Experience with Elekta MosaiQ/ Varian ARIA
  • EPIC Ambulatory certification is a plus.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Ability to build collaborative relationships
  •  Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, accurately and independently.
  •  Provides On Call Support rotation, includes weekends and holidays.
  • Must have transportation and ability to travel to all Advocate Aurora sites that utilize an Oncology EMR.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work within specified timeframes.
  • Fast paced environment with established time constraints.

This position has accountability within the Cancer Institute for Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Cancer Registry departments across Advocate. This position is a resource for project plans and provides process optimization including written project plans, reports, presentations and metrics that address planning and implementation activities, acceptance testing, ongoing performance, system maintenance, training, end-user satisfaction and quality control. This position provides technical support and coordination to site administrators.
