Purpose:
Directs, manages, and supervises clinical nutrition, diet office, patient tray line assembly and delivery activities. Directs and supervises department programs for Accrediting Organization compliance, competencies, quality management and training and development. Plans, directs and oversees Clinical Nutrition activities for inpatients and outpatients at Condell Medical Center. Responsibilities will include planning, directing, and implementation of programs for, competencies, quality management, Accrediting Organization compliance, and training and development for the department.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, or equivalent bachelors level degree in a closely related field of study (culinary, hospitality management)
  • 3+ years management experience
  • 2 years registered dietician experience, or in a role requiring application of nutritional principles and theory
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Organization, planning and delegation skills
  • Team building skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of clinical nutrition principles and theory Familiar with Microsoft office Registered Dietician (RD) preferred but not required
  • Serve Safe Certification Required
  • Office environmental where there is minimal or physical discomfort.

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.
