South Suburban is a 260 bed hospital with a level 2+ nursery and 24 bed Emergency Room. We also have a 5 star skilled nursing facility on site and 2 Davinci Robots in our surgical services area.

Purpose:
To provide administrative and clinical leadership to plan, coordinate, and manage personnel and resources in order to provide the highest quality patient care with trained, professional, and competent staff in the most cost~effective manner. To collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing, Masters preferred
  • 3~5 years Obstetric Experience preferably in labor and delivery.
  • 2 years previous management experience
  • Strong leadership experience, communication skills and
  • Results oriented with concern for appropriate process
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  •  CPR certification


Accountabilities:

  1. Planning, management, implementation and evaluation of operations/services to ensure quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  2. Preparation and administration of budgets to ensure adequate personnel, facilities, and supplies.
  3. Responsible for the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of staff.
  4. Maintenance of effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  5. Responsible for personal and professional growth and development.
