Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
At least 2 years' experience with analytics

Knowledge of clinical decision support systems
Knowledge and experience with analytic methods and software
Experience with facilitating group discussion and presenting data
Self~directed and results oriented
Knowledge of PI processes
Good organizational and project management skills
Ability to effectively problem solve
Ability to build collaborative working relationships
Demonstrated knowledge of office applications and statistical analytic software
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and written Not Applicable Ability to use personal computer for extensive periods of time
Travel in local or out of town conferences as needed
Participation in publications and presentations as requested

Purpose:
The Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, collection, and reporting of complex data as it relates to clinical and operation functions throughout Advocate Christ Medical Center's Trauma Recovery Center. This individual uses proprietary decision support systems, as well as external databases for reporting and analysis of data trends used for monitoring measurement progress and opportunities for improvement.
Under the direction of the Director of the Trauma Recovery Center , this position supports the continual process improvement initiatives throughout the hospital and with the TRC through the creation/maintenance of reports and dashboards.

Accountabilities:
Provides consultative services to the organization related to the management of data and information
Prepares, coordinates, and reviews specialized reports needed to support organizational analytics and initiatives
Create and distribute clinical and operations reports from various internal and external data sources
Assists the Quality Resources Department in the planning and maintenance of data analytics necessary to support improvement initiatives
