Position Requirements:
3~5 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting.
1~2 years of supervisory experience.
Graduate of accredited school of Ultrasonography
Associate's degree
Ability to adjust to flexible scheduling.
Possess strong knowledge and proficiency in the performance of general, vascular, OB/GYN and breast ultrasound procedures on a regular basis with radiologist's guidance.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Good PC skills with basic knowledge of Office software.

Strong customer service abilities.

Proven ability to use good judgment in stressful situations.

Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems. ARDMS Registered
CPR Certification
Minimum one sub~specialty certification/registry.

~Ability to respond to all emergency room cases in an
'on~call” situation ~ requires travel to work on emergency
~Ability to perform lifting activities according to DOL
~Maintains proper ergonomic techniques to ensure personal safety

This position will need to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e., understand child growth and development normal patterns of adolescent behavioral and look for signs of normal aging, prior experience with various age groups is preferred.

If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

Under the direction of the department manager, oversees and coordinates day~to~day accountabilities for approximately 5~12 associates in assigned department(s) while ensuring policies, procedures, safety regulations and Behavioral Expectations are consistently followed. Provides support, training, guidance and acts as a resource to direct reports to maintain and enhance department processes. The Team Lead will act as a first line of contact for the staff when problems with equipment, patients, or other operational issues arise while keeping the department manager informed.

Responsible for providing a safe environment with a customer centered approach.
Responsible for daily team operations, staffing schedules and works to ensure overall work standards and goals are achieved (KRAs).
Collaborates with the department manager to ensure department quality and individual performance standards are achieved by all team members.
