Bachelors degree of any kind OR 3~5 years of experience related to healthcare, IT or education/training.

Trainer/educator experience in the field of IT and the use of technology exposure to the field of healthcare, excellent analytical, technical, and problem solving abilities excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.

~Extensive travel across all of Advocate Medical Group sites is required, including Central Illinois. 
~Ability to work in a changing environment.
~Required to work independently and remotely, therefore routinely and consistently available by phone/online.
~During the EMR rollout, required to work some evenings and weekends to support site conversions to EMR.

Purpose: 
This position is responsible for being a productive member of the Clinical Informatics Department. This department, and all the associates within, are responsible for supporting all of AMG's Practice Sites (Operations, Providers, Clinical and non~Clinical associates) in their use of the AMG's Epic EMR, Patient Portal, related systems, and related workflows. This is accomplished through various education and training models, including classroom training. This position is also responsible for fostering and maintaining close partnerships with other AMG support departments whose work influences and impacts the Practice Sites and the way they utilize the various systems. Informatics is integral in the connecting of and communication to all of these parties and their day~to~day work in the various systems.

Accountabilities:
Contributes to the successful implementation of AMG's EMR and the on~going use by all users.
Contributes to the creation, preparation and delivery of EMR education and training materials. Also, reviews and maintains material and content owned by the department.
Responsible for staying up~to~date on all relevant changes, requirements and expectations that impact how the various systems are used at AMG. In some instances, partner with the support department(s) that influence these changes/requirements/expectations.
