Position Requirements:

  • Masters degree requirement(preferably MSN)
  • Bachelors degree requirement (BSN)
  • 2 years of previous management experience focused in emergency care, telemetry or observational medicine services

To provide leadership and coordination of patient care, education, performance improvement, research and clinical operations of the Observation Unit and Inpatient Dialysis. To manage the personnel and resources that provide the highest quality patient care with trained, professional, and competent staff in the most cost~effective manner. To collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.


  1. Demonstration of leadership and development of the Observation Unit and Inpatient Dialysis personnel.
  2. Development, coordination, and monitoring of Observation Unit operations.
  3. Responsible for the oversight, monitoring and analysis of operating and capital budgets.
  4. Responsibility for monitoring and evaluation of the Observation Unit and Inpatient Dialysis.
  5. Development and maintenance of effective relationships with Systemwide and external contacts to meet critical decision unit goals and objectives.
  6. Responsible for personal and professional growth and development.
