Position Requirements:

  • MBA, MHA or equivalent graduate degree
  • 5-7 years operational, healthcare consulting or clinical experience

The Director of Primary Care, , Orthopedics and Neuroscience Service Lines provides overall strategic leadership and administrative oversight of these domains through strategic planning, conducting business development and executing growth plans relative to these services within the GSAM market. The position is responsible for organizing and directing services and programs and ensuring appropriate resource allocation. The Director in collaboration with the dyad partners and multidisciplinary teams leads strategic growth initiatives for new and existing services, develops and strengthens physician relationships, launches new programs, promotes and markets current and emerging services, and increases market share.


  1. Provide overall strategic leadership for primary care, orthopedics and neuroscience service lines to support volume and revenue growth, affordability, and safety and quality.
  2. Responsible for professional and personal growth of oneself and to promote the development of leadership skills of direct reports and team members working within areas of responsibility.
  3. In conjunction with site medical and administrative leadership, acts as administrative liaison between department management, medical staff, and external contacts to promote positive working relationships and to meet market objectives for the respective service lines services.
  4. Direct and control allocation of resources including: capital, expense budgets, FTEs, space, and time to effectively meet system, hospital and market goals and objectives.
  5. Provide oversight and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards developed to ensure quality management and adherence to Accrediting Organization, IDPH, CDC and OSHA guidelines. Lead or participate on teams responsible for achieving and maintaining service line specific accreditations.
