What You Will Do:

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing implementation of the digital marketing campaigns that support the Advocate Aurora Health’s marketing and digital strategy and growth activities from concept to execution. The Digital marketing manager will work with the marketing team, digital experience teams, other internal stakeholders and external partners to launch campaigns on time and on budget. This position is responsible for a wide-scope of digital marketing activities including, online lead generation, measuring and analyzing, optimizing, and implementing enhancements to our digital advertising campaigns to drive impressions, website traffic, lead generation, and ultimately increase ROI via a multi-channel digital media approach.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Creation of digital market tactical plans to support overall system goals for new patient acquisition and existing consumer engagement.    
  • Responsible for overseeing execution of paid, digital marketing activities that support improved awareness and acquisition for new and existing patients including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), display/programmatic ads, social advertising, video pre-roll and other digital channels.  
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against KRAs.   
  • Responsible for oversight of planning, execution and measurement of A/B ad experiments to track and optimize conversions.    
  • Collaborate with Digital Experience and content teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience.    
  • Responsible for partnering with multiple agencies to delegate campaigns tasks.   
  • Reviews and recommends new and emerging advertising technologies and
    platforms. Brainstorm new and creative growth digital marketing ideas.    
  • Works closely with content marketing team to define new search engine optimization (SEO) goals and initiatives.  
  • Works in close partnership with the Advocate Aurora Call Center to track consumer interactions from digital marketing initiatives.    
  • Assigns task and projects, provides leadership and oversight to the digital marketing coordinator and digital marketing specialist.   

 

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, Masters Degree preferred. Field of Study: Marketing, advertising, digital, computer science 
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Advertising, media planning, digital, marketing technology 
  • Google AdWords Certification, Google Advanced Analytics Certification 
  • Strong effective communicator with both written and oral skills 
  • Intermediate to advanced experience leading and managing a successful online digital marketing campaign for search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), CRM (marketing database/automated marketing),social media, display and
  • programmatic buying, content marketing, UI/UX and website landing page optimizations for conversions. 
  • Advanced knowledge of digital paid advertising platforms and tools including Google Adwords, Google Analytics, CMS software, Adobe tools, HTML, and related tools. 
  • Advanced knowledge of search engine optimization techniques and program application. 
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising appropriate tactics based on market segmentation. 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking in an environment of on-going change. 
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement. 
  • Working knowledge of ad serving software and Adobe CS (Photoshop).
  • Must be able to review and approve creative assets used for digital marketing and website landing pages. 
  • Must be results orientated – with a high ability to function in an extremely fast-paced environment. 
  • Can work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a large team located in different states. 
  • Self-motivated, resourceful with a creative mindset and a selfstarter 
  • Excellent presentation skills
