Position Requirements:

  • Current RN license in State of IL
  • Bachelors Degree required (BSN)
  • 2 years of previous management experience focused in cardiology and physician organizations.
  • 4 years previous clinical experience including 2 years experience in cardiology.
  • Board Certified in Specialty (RCIS) or (RCEP)
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Organization, planning and delegation skills.
  • Team building skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Results oriented with concern for appropriate process.
  • Proficiency in the operation and understanding of technical equipment.
  • Ability to assume 24 hour accountability for areas of responsibility.

To provide administrative and clinical leadership for cardiology services, including Cardiodiagnostic Services (i.e., EKG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, stress testing, etc.), Cardiac Rehab, Cardiac Cath and EP labs, Cath Lab prep and recovery, and hospital based HF clinic. To plan, coordinate and manage personnel and resources in order to provide the highest quality patient care and community education with trained, professional and competent staff in the most cost-effective manner. To collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.To develop Associates to their fullest potential by focusing on education and mentoring plans with to achieve optimal retention and succession planning outcomes.

  5. Associate Satisfaction ~ Responsible for the selection, development, motivation and evaluation of staff
  6. Growth ~ Builds a departmental reputation and maintains patient care area on the cutting edge of performance and quality via input into implementation of strategic partnership with Clinical and Medical Directors.
