Purpose:
To provide administrative and clinical leadership to plan, coordinate, and manage personnel and resources in order to provide the highest quality patient care with trained, professional, and competent staff in the most cost-effective manner. To collaborate with physicians and other health care disciplines to assure optimal patient care.
 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing required
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
  • 3~5 years labor and delivery experience including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Organizational, planning and delegation skills
  • Demonstrates leadership attributes
  • Results oriented with concern for appropriate process  
  • CPR required
  • Resilience and flexibility to deal with a changing environment.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations.



Accountabilities:

  1. Planning, management, implementation and evaluation of operations/services to ensure quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  2. Preparation and administration of budgets to ensure adequate personnel, facilities, and supplies.
  3. Responsible for the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of staff.
  4. Maintenance of effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
  5. Responsible for personal and professional growth and development.
