Position Requirements:
ARRT eligible.
Some scanning experience
Able to complete most CT procedures. ARRT Registered May be exposed to life threatening diseases.
Ability to adjust hours with minimal notice as required
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to view small CRT screens.
Ability to work odd hours.
Ability to respond to emergency call.
Ability to lift and/or move patients.
Ability to work under stressful conditions
Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week.
Ability to stand, bend and/or stoop for extended periods of time.


If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

Purpose:
To produce quality CT scans, demonstrating the anatomy and physiological presentation of patients internal structures for the diagnosis of the presence or absence of anomalies.

To assist radiologists and physicians in the performance of procedures and in the operation of CT equipment required enabling appropriate diagnosis.

To function as a liaison connecting patients, their families, nursing units and physicians.
