MSW from CSWE accredited school of social work.
LCSW.
Sound knowledge of therapeutic skills.
Experience providing clinical supervision to other members of the department, as warranted.
MSW degree required.
LCSW in State of Illinois required.
ACSW eligible.
NASW membership suggested.
~Will be required to work some weekends or evening hours.
~Ability to work Holidays as needed.
~Responding to emergency situation that requires physical/behavioral management and use of de~escalation skills/techniques.
~Ability to move patients and lift 50 pounds.
~May be exposed to infectious diseases, violent patient behavior, chemicals, electrical equipment and hazards associated with their use.

If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

Provides direct treatment, counseling, psychotherapy, and makes referrals for patients and families as an integral part of the multidisciplinary mental health team. Assists the treatment team through consultation so that the patient's psychosocial needs are recognized and met. Facilitates adjustment by the patient, family and significant others to promote maximal benefits for health care services provided. Provides continuity of care from the hospital to the community.

Accountabilities:
Provides group therapy to inpatients daily as required by schedule.
Provides clinical interventions to maximize patient and family benefit from treatment. Acts as a clinical resource to the treatment team.
Provides clinical oversight and guidance to designated Mental Health staff .
Maintains professional standards and responsibilities for his/her own professional practice according to hospital, department, state regulations and NASW Standards and Code of Ethics.
