Position Requirements:
HS Diplmoa
2~3 years hospital/patient care experience
CNA or equivalent Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good team skills.
Good time management skills. Certified Nursing Assistant
CPR Certification
Basic Life Support certification Ability to frequently stoop, bend, push, pull, climb, lift and demonstrate manual dexterity for extended periods of time.
Ability to recognize needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups.
Ability to remain calm on occasions when several unpredictable situations occur simultaneously, and act in an appropriate manner.
Ability to stand and walk for a long period of time (stand and/or walk 90 percent of time sit 10 percent of time, depending on assignment (able to kneel and bend.)
Able to work at a pace sufficient to complete assigned workload daily.
Ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of fire or other disaster.
Ability to prioritize numerous assignments and respond to changes in environment by changing priorities if necessary.
Maintain standards of good grooming.

To assist in providing quality care to patients in a manner which is patient focused and technically appropriate. The SDS/Endoscopy Technician collaborates with the physician and registered nurse to perform GI and pulmonary endoscopy procedures. The Tech anticipates physician and patient needs during complex procedures for critically ill and stable patients during endoscopy procedures. Responds quickly and appropriate to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Performs duties related to diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic/bronchoscopic procedures.
Provides patient care during the entire perianesthesia patient experience.
Perform tasks maintaining patient care standards and efficient unit operations within Surgical Services.
