Position Requirements:
Associate degree in business or healthcare related field
Minimum of three years experience in physician practice operations
Plus 1~2 years lead or supervisory experience.

Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT
~Above average computer skills.
Above average interpersonal skills and communication.
Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
Above average organizational skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding/billing systems. N/A ~Ability to work varying shifts any day of the week to meet
needs of the site.
Ability to work under stressful conditions and difficult
Ability to perform lifting/transfer activities relating to
patient as needed, ability to stoop/bend.
Able to respond quickly to patient needs and work at a fast

If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the
following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting
requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35
pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

To provide leadership to the occupational health office practices(s) with accountabilitu for operations in collaboration with the practice manager, physicians, associates and all internal and external customers including patients/families. To provide accountable leadership to staff through coaching, mentoring and role modeling to achieve the highest quality patient care in a save, cost effective and customer focused environment. To coordinate behavioral health front office daily business and support staff office operations (registration, billing, cash collections, encounter reconciliation, insurance verification, referral processing, medical records management, and supervision of the delivery of patient care by clinical staff) for AMG Physician practice site. Provide leadership to clerical and clinical associates and act as a resource to staff to support operations. Insure consistent customer service aligned with the Advocate mission, values and philosophy and assist with training, reporting and implementation of process and computer changes at the site.

Responsible for the overall coordination of Occupational Health services at practice location(s). Coordinate initiatives that enhance practice growth as well as retention of existing patients/clients in collaboration with leadership.
Direct Registration and Scheduling Process
Evaluation of patient care and business Operations/Services to ensure Quality, Efficiency, and Patient Satisfaction. Collaborates with the Manager and leadership to maintain an environment that is patient and client centered as evidenced by availability of open access, adherence to test result reporting guidelines, positive patient comments, and meeting/exceeding Key Results Area (KRA) goals.
Manages daily human resource functions to ensure continued quality, development and retention reflecting the Advocate Experience of creating the best place for Associates to work, Creates an environment where providers are recognized for good work and achieves Provider Satisfaction scores consistent with AMG goals and standards.
Participate in billing process, coding training and other educational initiatives to improve charge entry accuracy and reduce denials.
