Position Requirements:
High school diploma.

Completion of Cardio~diagnostic training program. Excellent communication skills.
Customer focused.
Computer experience.


Ability to operate a CRT and computerized equipment
CPR
Completion of Cardio~diagnostic training program or Certification in Cardio~Diagnostics. May be exposed to infectious disease and biohazardous material


Ability to work under time constraints (stat tests/procedures)

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts to accommodate staffing needs

This position can recognize needs and behaviors of the following age groups: pediatric (newborn, toddler, school age), adolescent, adult, and older adult.
Evidence of this can be shown by recognizing levels of development and modifying approach and exhibiting communication skills necessary to interpret age specific responses.



If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

Purpose:
To provide high quality diagnostic testing. This position provides technical and clerical services for cardiodiagnostics.

Accountabilities:
Provision of high quality Cardiodiagnostic procedures explains procedure, gives thorough instructions, prepares patient accordingly and is able to identify and report abnormal ECG rhythms.
Participation in department Continuous Quality Assurance to provide high quality and patient focused care.
Maintenance of accurate Medical Records.
Performance of high quality 12 lead ECG for adult and pediatric patients including MUSE management.
Provision of accurate and timely processing of diagnostic tests and billing procedures.
