This position supports multiple departments: Allergy, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Laboratory & Radiology.
Clinic Hours 7am-8pm Mon-Fri and 7a-5pm Sat/Sun.

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm with on call responsibilities for staffing


Position Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • BSN preferred
  • 3 years nursing experience.
  • 2 years lead/supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership skills. Professional communication and well developed interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of clinic staff and management.
  • Functional PC skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledgeable of required EMR and PC software to perform tasks.
  • Evidence of management skills: Good judgment, organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong clinical knowledge essential to discipline.
  • Previous experience in mentoring/training associates.
  • Ability to understand financial statements, budget planning, project planning concepts.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Current nursing license from the State of Illinois.
  • CPR certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
  • ACLS and/or PALS may be required for some specialty departments.
  • Ability to pass pre~employment physical (and physical lift test, if required by department policy.)
  • Must be able to travel to various Dreyer locations.
  • Must be flexible to meets accountabilities of workforce coverage.
  • Proven ability to work under time pressures and meet deadlines.

Under the direction and in support of the department Clinic Operations Manager/Director, provides ongoing supervision of direct reports and department(s) to ensure that patient/customer satisfaction, department objectives and clinic goals are maintained and enhanced. Ensures that department and clinic policies, procedures, Behavioral Expectations, federal and state rules and regulations, as they apply, are consistently adhered to. Performs a variety of administrative accountabilities as detailed in assigned work standard.


  1. Oversees and directs the operations of assigned department(s) to ensure appropriate use of resources, efficiency of workforce, and overall maintenance of department(s).
  2. Participates in and encourages process improvement to positively impact Key Results Areas, as applicable.
  3. Executes administrative accountabilities in support of manager/director and department.
  4. Provides for team member and self training and development.
