Graduate of AMA approved school/program of Radiologic Technology
1~2 years MRI scanning experience
Competent degree of technical knowledge to perform MRI studies
Able to make some diagnostic judgments when scanning
Good communication skills
Good organizational skills
Some computer knowledge
Knowledge of cross~sectional anatomy
Competent IV skills
Registered ARRT (R)(MRI)

Registered ARMRIT
CPR certified
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to constantly view small monitors during exams
Willingness to work overtime when needed
Work under frequent stress in sensitive clinical settings
Responds positively to requests to work on short notice
Flexible in start and end times
May be exposed to infectious diseases and hazardous materials
Flexible in changing environment
Ability to lift and move patients
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.

Produce quality MRI scans, demonstrating the anatomy and physiological presentation of patient's internal structures for the diagnosis of the presence or absence of anomalies. Assist radiologists and physicians in the performance of procedures and in the operation of MRI equipment required enabling appropriate diagnosis. Function as a liaison connecting patients, their families, nursing and physicians.
