On Site nurse must be able to work autonomously
Current Illinois licensure as Registered Nurse
ADN Diploma
2 to 3 years RN experience
1 year Occ Health or related experience
CPR Certified
This position is registry and will provide supplemental staffing at Advocate Trinity Hospital on the South east side of Chicago.
Job Description:
Provision of quality Occupational Health nursing care in accordance with all regulatory agencies, and policies and procedures. Provision of site specific Occupational Health On Site nursing services as contracted by Company and Advocate Occupational Health.
Accountabilities:
1. Provision of complete nursing assessment, treatment plan and discharge based upon patient needs within the Occupational Health setting and/or On Site Company setting.
2. Maintains timely and accurate patient documentation, including assessment, progress, and discharge, as well as patient billing records.
3. Consultation with physicians and other allied health personnel to keep them apprised of patient progress.
4. Supervision and coordination support personnel in order to ensure efficient and appropriate care is delivered to all patients, if applicable.
5. Keeps abreast of current developments and provides departmental education.
6. Participation in the implementation of departmental goals through program development.
7. Provides on site programs for companies as needed.
