* CPR certified
* IDEA, ACSM, ACE or AFAA certified or equivalent certification for Group Exercise Instructor.
* Good skills in coordination, rhythm and timing.
* Physical strength and flexibility is needed.
* High School education or equivalent with the ability to complete in house mentoring and training program.
* Must display ability to motivate members in fitness classes.
* Requires good communication skills.
Job Description:
Certified Instructors to provide instruction, leadership, support and motivation while conducting a safe fundamentally sound exercise class for members and guests of the Centre Club.
Accountabilities:
1. Provide safe and appropriate group fitness programs to members and guests of the Centre Club with attention to correct body mechanics and proper exercise techniques.
2. Knowledge and ability to demonstrate Centre Club services, new equipment technology, instruction, and demonstration of exercise techniques to members and guests of the Centre Club.
3. Maintenance of class equipment and accurate, up to date class records.
4. Program development for existing and new fitness classes for members and guests of the Fitness Center.
