Basic knowledge of the operation, P.M. and service to equipment listed on Attachment 1 and Attachment 3.
High school education or equivalent Completion of approved maintenance mechanic apprenticeship program. Ability to interpret blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams. 4 to 5 years as a fully qualified maintenance mechanic. State of Illinois Driver License.
Job Description:
To perform skilled fabrication, construction/remodeling, repair and preventative maintenance tasks for hospital related entities i.e., buildings, grounds and equipment. Accountabilities: 1. Performance of general maintenance work activities. 2. Performance of general maintenance work activities continued.... 3. Performance of general maintenance work activities continued.... 4. Timely response to requests for emergency services. 5. Coordination of work activities with requesting entities. 6. Provision of various modes of job training and/or supplemental classes to departmental staff. 7. Documentation of work activities i.e., routine service, preventive maintenance and project. 8. Implementation of CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) and OI (Operational Improvement) objectives. 9.
