Job Description:
Directs, evaluates, and manages the operational activities, administrative functions, physician relations, and personnel; leads and facilitates quality improvement programs and activities within NeuroScience (EEG, EMG, Evoked Potential testing, Long Term ICU Monitoring, IntraOperative Monitoring Services, Sleep Disorders Center). Prepares and manages budgets for NeuroScience. Recommends, designs and implements new clinical programs in the areas of NeuroScience. Responsible for the hiring, developing/planning and terminating of staff for NeuroScience.
Accountabilities: 1. Responsible for preparing and reporting financial data for NeuroScience. 2. Responsible for overall staff selection and competency; individual, professional and team development, associate performance pathway process, staff credentialing, staff allocation and planning. 3. Responsible for providing direction in the development of programs and services and seeks new opportunities, programs, projects and partnerships to increase customer base and develop sources of revenue. 4. Develops and implements administrative and clinical policies and procedures related to operations of the department. 5. Responsible for direction of Continuous Quality Improvement programs. 6. Performance of END Procedures
