Job Description:
To provide administrative oversight and direction, and manage the strategic planning, marketing, operational activities and administrative functions of Ancillary services. These departments include Pharmacy, Radiology, and Respiratory Therapy. In addition, serves as the regional liaison for the system Laboratory product line. Ensures that all areas operate within the established policies, procedures, and strategic objectives of Christ Medical Center/Hope Children’s and Trinity Hospitals.
Incumbent serves as a liaison and internal consultant to hospital and corporate Administration, Radiologists, Referring Physicians, Nursing and Ancillary departments relative to diagnostic, ancillary services and their operations.
A. Development and implementation of strategic plans of Advocate Healthcare, Christ Medical Center/Hope and Trinity Hospitals including the research and analysis of proposed managed care provider agreements, adoption of new and/or emerging technology, changes in the scope of services or expansion into new imaging and ancillary business. Plans feasibility studies, Certificate of Need applications and construction documents. 35 %
B. Administrative oversight of the coordination and administration of all operational aspects of assigned departments to provide effective quality care and services. 30 %
C. Development and ongoing maintenance of collaborative relationships with Vice Presidents, Department managers/directors, physicians, system wide contacts, and related external contacts in order to meet strategic objectives. 15 %
D. Provide oversight, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards that have been developed to ensure quality management, and adherence to JCAHO, IDPH, CDC, Magnet and OSHA guidelines. 10 %
E. Responsible for professional and personal growth and development. 10 %
