- Strong interpersonal skills and communication.
- Independence with providing advanced level of clinical skills and expertise.
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school
- Minimum of 2 years of pertinent pediatric clinical experience
- Maintains continuing education requirements as mandated by professional standards.
- Successful experience with supervision: senior level students and/or mentoring new staff/peers.
- Licensed in Illinois or eligible in State of Illinois
- CPR Certification BCLS
- ASHA Certification
- 0-3 Early Intervention Treatment Credential for Peds
- Pediatric experience

Job Description:

Provides direct speech therapy services to patients of all ages who are referred to the department. Selects appropriate evaluation procedures and develops individualized treatment programs to restore or maximize each patient's functional skills. A Therapist II is responsible for a complex caseload, and role includes teaching, mentoring and committee responsibilities. Serves as a clinical resource to staff and assists the coordinator in the daily operations of the department as assigned.
