Job Description:

Working as a member of the patient care team, provide support for a variety of patient care units, by managing information to facilitate coordination, and efficient delivery of patient care.
Provide patient care and unit support by performing specific duties and procedures under direction of the registered nurses. Duties include unit information coordinator and patient care assistant.

Accountabilities:
1. Processes and requisitions patient care orders.
2. Ensures essential data is available in a timely, accurate, consistent manner, and easily accessible.
3. Maintains Medical Record following established methods
4. Admissions/Discharges/Transfers
5. Performs basic patient care services that are specific to the patient population served and as directed by the Registered Nurses.
6. Maintains Patient environment
7. Promotes a smoother workflow and provides a positive hospital experience for patients, families and visitors
