Job Description:
To orient all new Central Processing Department personnel to department and hospital policies, procedures and functions
To perform on the job training and planning of appropriate in-service education programs for Central Processing Department staff to ensure accuracy of performance, continuing education, compliance with LGH policies and procedures and proper response in emergency situations.
Accountabilities:
1. Orientation of new Central Processing Department associates.
2. In collaboration with the manager, manages processes that supports patient care delivery to optimize patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, and resource management. 20
3. Promotion and support of an environment that is conducive to staff growth and development and autonomy.
