REQUIRED EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: • BA or BS or Certificate in Physical Therapy or MPT or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program. • Preferred: Outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation experience with Sports Medicine background. • 3 years clinical experience in rehab setting, preferably outpatient rehab. • Current licensure in Illinois for Physical Therapy • BLS CPR Certification
SKILLS: • Basic typing and PC skills; Preferred computer proficiency and former use of computer documentation. • Excellent customer service skills and responsive patient care values. • Evidence of good leadership skills: effective interpersonal skills; able to hold others accountable and use sound judgment. • Previous experience supporting, training and mentoring others. • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively; verbally and in writing with patients, family, associates and providers. • Analytical ability to evaluate patient condition, capabilities, and progress. • Professional knowledge to evaluate, plan, and administer appropriate treatment safely. • Good organizational and prioritizing skills with good attention to detail. • Ability to learn proper billing and coding as related to department.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, position, and manually treat patients. • Ability to travel between sites. • May have exposure to excessive noise. • Work requires standing/walking most of day coupled with intermittent lifting, positioning, transferring, or manually treating patients. • Use of EMR requires repetitive use of keyboard and mouse. • Flexible hours are possible, but hours may exceed 40 hours per week. • May need schedule flexibility to accommodate patient access including early morning or late evening rotations. • Possible exposure to chemicals or blood-borne pathogens.
Job Description:
Dreyer Medical Clinic's outpatient, orthopaedic focused physical Therapy Department is seeking a dynamic, experienced Physical Therapist who desires an active role in direct patient care, team management and therapist development.
Dreyer's Physical Rehabilitation Services, backed by more than 30 years of experience, offers outpatient physical and occupational therapy for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurologic and sports-related issues. We serve primarily pre- and post- surgical orthopaedic cases, with specialty areas in foot orthotics, video analysis, work conditioning, and sports injuries. Lymphedema management is performed by LANA certified therapists. Services provided at company sites include job analysis and worksite assessments, functional biomechanics training and ergonomic consulting. Our electronic medical records system gives our therapists and physicians complete access to patient care and therapy documentation, enabling continuity of care.
The Team Lead PT position provides physical therapy services and leads other therapists and assistants in providing quality patient care while upholding Dreyer Medical Clinic (Clinic) and department policies, procedures and Behavioral Expectations. * Selects appropriate evaluation procedures and develops individualized treatment programs to restore or maximize each patient's functional skills. * Monitors patient access to care; adjusting staffing and schedules to meet patient needs. * Responsible for orienting, training, performance and competency testing of assigned rehab associates. * Promotes Dreyer Rehabilitation to internal and external customers.

LOCATION: Dreyer Medical Clinic has three Rehab locations in western Aurora (2), Batavia and Oswego, Illinois. We currently have Team Lead positions available in Aurora and Oswego, Illinois.
HOURS: Monday through Friday. Must be able to work flex hours between 7am and 7pm. (8 hours shifts). NO WEEKENDS! NO HOLIDAYS!
