• BA or BS or Certificate in Physical Therapy or MPT or DPT from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current or establishing licensure in Illinois with proof of application for licensure submitted
• BLS CPR Certification
• Basic typing and PC skills
• Excellent customer service skills and responsive patient care values.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively; verbally and in writing with patients, family, associates and providers.
• Analytical ability to evaluate patient condition, capabilities, and progress.
• Professional knowledge to evaluate, plan, and administer appropriate treatment safely.
• Good organizational and prioritizing skills with good attention to detail.
• Ability to learn proper billing and coding as related to department.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, position, and manually treat patients.
• Ability to travel between sites.
• May have excessive noise, poor temperature regulation.
• Work requires standing/walking most of day coupled with intermittent lifting, positioning, transferring, or manually treating patients.
• Use of EMR requires repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
• Flexible hours are possible, but hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
• May need schedule flexibility to accommodate patient access. Possible early morning or late evening rotations.
• Possible exposure to chemicals or blood-borne pathogens.

Job Description:
Dreyer Medical Clinic's outpatient physical Therapy Department is seeking a dynamic, experienced Physical Therapist who desires a sports medicine or orthopaedic focused therapy career. The PT II provides physical therapy services, as a senior therapist, to patients of all ages who are referred to the department.
- Selects appropriate evaluation procedures and interprets initial assessments.
- Develops individualized treatment programs to restore or maximize each patient’s functional skills.
- Serves as a clinical resource to the departmental staff in daily operations.
Dreyer's Physical Rehabilitation Services, backed by more than 30 years of experience, offers outpatient physical and occupational therapy for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurologic and sports-related issues. We serve primarily pre- and post- surgical orthopaedic cases, with specialty areas in foot orthotics, video analysis, work conditioning, and sports injuries. Lymphedema management is performed by LANA certified therapists. Services provided at company sites include job analysis and worksite assessments, functional biomechanics training and ergonomic consulting. Our electronic medical records system gives our therapists and physicians complete access to patient care and therapy documentation, enabling continuity of care.

HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 7pm with flexible 8 or 10 hour shifts to provide for optimum patient accessibility.

Dreyer Medical Clinic Rehabilitation Services - Mercy Campus. Located at the intersection of Indian Trail Road and Highland Avenue in northwest Aurora. Nice facility!
