Job Description:
The Support Services Specialist is the link between the external and internal customers and the customer and Customer Service Center in the delivery of prompt, efficient customer focused service. The Support Services Specialist efficiently answers and dispatches all incoming external and internal calls using the ISISPro, Alcatel and AMCOM systems and responds to all emergency alarms, codes and monitors quickly and efficiently. Demonstrates active personal daily involvement, visibility, open-mindedness and professionalism to the Communications Center, staff, internal and external customers, and suppliers. Reports to the Manager of Communications Center/Central Transport and is responsible for providing clerical services as needed to the Leaders and mangers of Service Center areas. Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to scheduling, dispatch and performance of the Support Services divisions. As a team member of the Communications Center, in addition to the specific responsibilities outlined below, you are expected to demonstrate the MVP of the hospital.
