Bachelors degree in OT.
Experience in providing inservices to peers.
Current AOTA registration
Illinois state licensure
Job Description:
To provide advanced Occupational Therapy skills/experience to patients/clients with physical disabilities. These services include assessment, treatment , program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Emphasis in teaching/mentoring and assumes major project or committee responsibilities.
Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for all principal accountabilities of Occupational Therapist
2. Participation in educational / mentoring activities with OT students, medical students, peers, Hospital staff and / or the community.
3. Participation in Rehab Services growth and operations.
4. Responsible for staying abreast of clinical and operational developments.
5. Assumes other related responsibilities as assigned.
Position for on-call, registry within acute care department at Lutheran General Hospital. Shifts available as needed on weekdays and weekends. Experience in acute care setting preferred, but will consider new graduate who is eager to learn.
