Competent physical assessment and First Aid skills Administration of injections Ability to perform EKG, Phlebotomy, Drug Screening, Spirometry, Audiograms, Vision Screening,, Breath Alcohol Testing. Leadership Skills Communication Skills PC familiarity RN; ADN Diploma 3-5 years experience as Registered Nurse One (1) year in an Occupational Health or related setting
Knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, FMLA, ADA Standards, DOT Regulations, CDC Guidelines, Worker s Compensation Laws Current Illinois licensure as Registered Nurse Current CPR Certification
Job Description:
To coordinate Occupational Health Services provided to area businesses as well as Advocate Associates. To train, coordinate, and supervise Clinical Associates in the provision of Occupational Health Services in compliance with quality management and regulatory guidelines. To assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of CQI indicators in conjunction with the Medical Director(s) and other designated team members. To oversee clinic activities to assure adherence to budgetary guidelines. To project the Advocate Values of compassion equality, excellence, partnership and stewardship. Accountabilities: 1. Supervision of clinic activities to ensure compliance with ADA, OSHA, IDPH, DOT, CDC and Advocate Occupational Health guidelines and policies 2. Supervision of the Advocate Occupational Health Drug and Alcohol screening Program for Advocate Health Care Associates and outside clients 3. Provision of quality Occupational Health Services to customers 4. Responsible for developing and reviewing department policies and procedures. 5. Coordination of Occupational Health Services provided to client companies and other Advocate Health Care Departments/Facilities 6. Responsible for the overall direction and operation of the Occupational/Employee Health Center
