Broad based knowledge and competency in both hardware and software applications and systems in a clinical department and /or integrated delivery system environment.
Strong presentation skills are required. Bachelor s degree in nursing.
Minimum of 5 + years experience in healthcare information systems. R.N. licensure
Job Description:
Perform activities related to the design, build, implementation, and support of the software of the Care Connection System (Cerner Millennium Clinical Information System) or other identified clinical software applications. Recommend plans of action, develop and maintain policies and procedures and protocol changes, and work with associates to optimize the utilization of the system. Communicate effectively with department and hospital associates. Deliver timely and high quality problem resolution and escalation services and provide solutions for user questions and requests for information.

7. Coordinates Physician activities, i.e., order set build, new orientation training for physicians.
