Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Reading, writing, mathematical computation such as those normally acquired with high school or equivalent
Ability to speak English sufficiently to perform job responsibilities
Able to work a cash register
Previous Barrista experience preferred
Able to work cash register
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year previous cash handling experience preferred
Previous food service experience preferred

Job Description:

The Cafe Attendant position waits on customers, tenders cash, preps food, and makes specialty coffee and tea beverages for customers in Java City. Empties trash in the area. Keeps floors in the deli/bakery clean. Utilizes standardized procedures to provide consistent service to all of our customers. Maintains established food cost and safe food handling practices. Puts away stock. Rotates and dates as needed.
Accountabilities:
1. The Cafe Attendant is held accountable for the proper preparation of twenty- six specialty beverages, gourmet teas and the quality and safety of food for customers in Java City. The attendant will accomplish these activities by doing the following:
