BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
1-2 years of healthcare work experience, healthcare analysis preferred.
Database Querying and Query Design skills preferred
Strong knowledge of MS-Office Software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong understanding of data analysis and interpretation.
Ability to work independently with supervision
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written

Job Description:

The Data Resource Analyst will be responsible for ongoing assistance with data analysis and reporting as it is used in the Revenue Integrity department to maintain compliance and optimization for Advocate's reimbursement. This position involves support and maintenance of the integrity of a database to track regulatory/defense audits throughout the Advocate health system. The Data Resource Analyst will need to manage, analyze, and report data entered into the database. In addition, this position will support other data management activities of the Revenue Integrity department such as the analysis and reporting of statistics relating to Pharmacy Charge Link, Chargemaster (CDM), and defense audits. This position has responsibility for assistance in the execution of audit dashboards, medical necessity and coding performance improvement reports and the administration of revenue integrity support systems.

This position serves as a resource across the system with accountability at both the system and site level to develop dashboards, ad hoc requests, measurement systems and intranet information.
