1 years previous experience as a secretary in a hospital, physicians office or a nursing home preferred
Allied health/medical/nursing students who have completed 1 or more clinical rotations
Job Description:
Provide non-clinical support for patient care units, by managing information to facilitate coordination, and efficient delivery of patient care.
Accountabilities:
1. Process and requisitions patient care orders
2. Ensures essential data is available in a timely, accurate, consistent manner, and easily accessible.
3. Maintains medical record following established methods
4. Admission/Discharge/Transfers
